Rule the Waves with Garchomp ex
Fan favorite Garchomp is the star of the Raging Surf set and is featured as a Water-type ex Pokémon this time around due to the Tera mechanic from Generation 9. Garchomp is a 320HP Stage 2 Pokémon that has two fantastic attacks. The first, [Hydro Lander], deals 160 damage for just 1 Energy. This is an insanely efficient attack, and the damage per Energy ratio is one of the highest we’ve ever seen in the competitive TCG. Not only that, it also attaches up to 3 Fighting Energy from your Discard Pile to your Benched Pokémon in any way you like. This makes Garchomp a great early threat as it applies a lot of pressure whilst also prepping your other Pokémon for battle. The second attack, [Sonic Dive], is great for finishing off Pokémon on the Bench, dealing 120 damage to any 1 of your opponent’s Pokemon. This means nothing is safe from Garchomp and its ferocious blades!
